To Breathe My Spring
On Meeting You Today
2019 may 22nd
jp melville

Spring
I wait to breathe
To rinse away my worries
I imagine it to be
Like waking, I open my eyes and beside me
She eternity, sleeping
Nut brown skin and eyelids dark draw me in
Hallowed in soft morning's dawning light

or

Maybe laughter
A confident conscious raucous thoughts roar
My heart awakes I surge with joy
Her nipples to my lips

so

We dream naïve and thus we thirst
For child's innocence
To hunger for mysteries of the wood
To desire wind sweeping grasses open prairie
A changing world

and

Birth rebirth

yes

I lust for woman content fecund full

My Spring to drink to touch to breathe I yearn...
