A tail flits sideways and then up To balance each step restrained Neck slung low, watching Carrying each pad silently, alert, ahead. You peer forward then to the side Dark ebony liquid eyes glistening Beckoning preternaturally beyond where there's no understanding yet Searching for a feeling. Your breath comes measured Moist nostrils flare slowly, chest swells Breathing deeply gently fall away, easy Calming nerves of steel.
