Pattering On The Roof
jan 2020
jp melville

It is hard listening to the snow sleet
Pattering on the roof.
Too much like the rain ringing incessant
Inside my head.
The dog sleeps and I too will soon
Do the same.
Let winter come and be my blanket
Through the night.
Alone we I am through
To eternity.

This winter’s night that I know
Cabin forest dog me woodfire
Silence pattering
Dissolving
Inside my head
Into my no control and dearest depth infinity.
